I hate this
okay
you say to stop using bases
yet
You used a template base
like
everyone keeps making these stamps to say "don't use bases" when in reality you also used a base!!!!!
I freaking hate people who do that :iconfacepalmplz:

There's a difference. Stamp bases are made for people to use them. Also, stamps are usually not considered art. They are used to express an opinion and other stuff. Using bases for art is something else than using bases for stamps.
Also, this stamp is not about bases. It's about art theft, which is a much more serious matter.
Using bases can be considered art theft too, when the original artist of the base that was used didn't give others permission to use it. But then it's a different story.

Please do your research before you just shout things at people.

Not even dealing with these because you're too young to even read twice after you write, it's sort of lame but it's actually not your fault because your brain is not done growing yet. Go get some veggies and study more ok?

I get the feeling that alot of the stealing and reposting that happens here is because of how easy this site is to use and they wanna make easy cash from DA.

well, you've to have in mind that the site is done by people, and even though the rules on da help people who mean wrong get no accountability for their actions, is always up to the people. I think stealing once and not knowing that you did wrong is totally normal, but if someone approaches that person and explains them why, and they keep doing, they know what they're doing and they do it. There are a lot of people with mediocre art knowledge doing great stealing and working for big companies. I worked in a part of the industry that condones stealing because "saves time" which is totally not true and illegal and requires barely no more talent than knowing shortcuts on photoshop. I think the best way of working is doing stuff that you don't have to look over your shoulder because it might hit you in the face someday, that's the best way of working and everyone is entitled to a mistake, but making a career stealing is so not right. Thanks for putting the chat on the table =)

Stealing anything and makig a buisness out of it is gunna bite you on cheeks some day whe you get caught, who tells these people stealing is easy and saves time?

The ones who acknowledge what they have done wrong and learn are cool, I ran into a young girl on here about 14 and she had been claiming traced works as her own, although she did have some works she made herself. I asked her that she give credit for where the traces came from and put them in scraps and she did and as far as I know since I haven't checked back in a while, she makes all her own works now even though they are not amazing.
